From first login to your first VM
Section titled “From first login to your first VM”The full walkthrough with screenshots is in OpenStack. Quick overview:
- Log in. Sign in with the user provided in your sign-up email at the dashboard (leave the domain field empty).
- Create a network and subnet: Step 1.
- Create a router and connect it to the external network. Step 2.
- Create a security group and allow SSH access (port 22). Step 3.
- Create an SSH keypair: Step 4.
- Create your first VM (compute instance). Step 5.
- Assign a floating IP so the VM is reachable from the internet. Step 6.
- Connect via SSH: Step 7.

Manage users and projects
Section titled “Manage users and projects”Users, projects and roles are managed in the nSC’s Zitadel IAM: IAM documentation. There you will learn how to create users, set up projects and assign roles.
